President Draupadi Murmu has embarked on a significant three-day state visit to Mauritius, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations. As part of her itinerary, she is scheduled to attend the National Day celebrations of Mauritius tomorrow, where she will serve as the chief guest. The ceremony will witness the participation of a contingent from the Indian Navy, featuring the Indian Navy's first training squadron ships - INS Tir and CGS Sarathi.
During her visit, President Murmu is set to engage in bilateral discussions with Mauritian President Prithviraj Singh Ropun and Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth. Additionally, she will hold meetings with the Speaker of the Mauritius National Assembly, the Chief Justice of the Mauritius Supreme Court, and various other dignitaries, further solidifying diplomatic relations between India and Mauritius.
